The first Spearfish 32 high performance hull has been released from its mould and is now in the next stage of production.
The vinylester resin hull laminate system incorporates stitched multi-axial reinforcements and sandwich ‘closed cell foam’, supported by longitudinal and transverse stringers and frames. The composite materials are engineered to produce maximum strength and durability with minimum weight for high performance.
The main structural bulkheads are vinylester, resin infused for a strong and lightweight construction. Once dry fitted, they are glass fibre bonded into the hull to form an integral part of the structure.
