296,000 visitors passed through the doors of Europe's largest indoor boat show with 55,000 people travelling from outside Germany, giving the show an international flavour.
Many heads were turned towards the Supermarine stand in the Superyacht hall. Two Swordfish 36's proudly stood on display, one with hydraulic lifting gear which could be raised and lowered to give the effect of the hull on the plane. The difference in the stylish exteriors of the two motor yachts demonstrated how subtle choices can enhance and personalise each yacht. The beautiful interiors, one in satin mahogany and one in high gloss mahogany created different moods of elegance and sophistication.
Champagne and nibbles flowed freely on the stand as many customers viewed the yachts. Players from a top German football team, famous celebrities and the King of Belgium visited the stand, expressing interest in the Supermarine Swordfish - one of the most elegant, stylish and individual boats built.
